Why homeowners call us

The problems we fix

Three reasons homeowners pick up the phone, and where to start.

  • Insurance trouble?

Non-renewal notice or stuck on the FAIR Plan? We install Class A roofing and ember-resistant vents and document the work for your insurer.

    Roofing problems we fix
  • Power bills keep climbing?

PG&E added a fixed monthly charge, and Net Billing pays less for power you send back. We design solar and batteries around how you actually use power.

    Solar problems we fix
  • Need more space?

ADUs of 750 sq ft or less have no impact fees, and cities must decide within 60 days of a complete application. We handle the plans and permits.

    ADU problems we fix

A new roof, solar, or an ADU. Either way, you want one straight answer.

Questions

Anything else, call (719) 301-9966

Is the inspection really free?

Yes. The inspection and photo report cost nothing, and you're under no obligation to hire us.

How do I know if my roof has hail damage?

It's hard to tell from the ground. Dents in gutters, downspouts, and vents, or shingle granules collecting at the downspouts, are common signs. The only way to know is to have someone get on the roof.

Should I call you or my insurance company first?

Call us first. We'll tell you whether there's enough damage to be worth a claim before you ever contact your insurer.

Do you work with my insurance company?

We work with all major carriers. We document the damage and meet your adjuster on site. You stay in control of your claim.

What solar financing do you offer?

Solar loans, leases, and power purchase agreements (PPAs). With a loan you own the system. With a lease or PPA you pay a monthly amount instead. We'll walk you through which one fits. Financing is subject to credit approval, and options also depend on your utility.

Should I replace my roof before going solar?

If your roof is near the end of its life or has storm damage, yes. Panels last 25 years or more, and replacing the roof later means paying to take them off and put them back. We'll inspect the roof first and tell you honestly.

Do you service solar systems you didn't install?

Yes. We clean, repair, and maintain systems from any installer, including Tesla, Enphase, and SolarEdge. Monthly service plans are available.

Do you help with ADU plans and permits?

Yes, in Northern California. We help with design and plans, the permit submittal, and the build through final inspection. Permit approval and review times are up to your city or county, and we keep you posted at every step.

Can you replace a roof that already has solar panels?

Yes. We detach and store the panels, replace the roof, then reinstall and test the system, all as one job.

Will a new roof help with my insurance?

It can. California requires insurers to recognize wildfire mitigation like a Class A roof and ember-resistant vents. Ask your insurer about discounts, since they vary by insurer. We document the work in photos so you have something to send them.

Is there still a federal solar tax credit?

Not for homeowners who buy their system. The federal residential credit (25D) ended for systems installed after 2025. A separate credit still exists for the companies that own leased and PPA systems. We'll walk you through cash, loan, lease, and PPA options honestly so you can pick what fits.

Do I need solar on my ADU?

Maybe. Many new detached ADUs need solar under California's energy code, and some small ones qualify for an exception. ADUs built inside existing space or as additions are exempt. We check yours.

Do I have to live on the property to build an ADU?

No. California doesn't let cities require owner-occupancy for ADUs. Other rules vary by city and lot, and we check yours at the site visit.
